Bob Walters
Chief Executive Officer
Bob is a graduate of UCLA, with 50 years of experience operating his own business in consulting and freight management. Prior to the incorporation of Freight Management Inc., Bob, president and founder of FMI, owned and founded American Traffic Coordination from 1969 to 1983. At the time, American Traffic was recognized as the largest and oldest 3PL company in the nation. Bob sold his company to Ryder, which ultimately became the foundation of what is known today as Ryder Logistics. Bob helped structure Ryder Logistics for approximately five years, at which time he left Ryder and proceeded to develop Freight Management Inc. He is an expert traffic consultant in rates, rules and carrier options for all modes of transportation, in all 50 states.
Tim Ponder

With more than 35 years of experience in the field of logistics management, Tim’s past experiences have included the position of director of operations and director of transportation for a major Los Angeles-based third-party logistics provider operating more than 2.5 million square feet of warehousing and servicing 12 Western states, as well as the Pacific Rim. Tim is a graduate of the University of Illinois, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics, with an emphasis in statistical analysis, while minoring in computer science and information systems.

Angela started in the industry in the year 2000 at a Walmart Distribution Center. She worked in all department from the Traffic Department, Quality Assurance, Billing, Claims, Container drayage from the port, etc. Angela started at Freight Management in 2007 and has gained knowledge of all the clients and plays a key role in the operations, onboarding, and maintaining of client’s satisfaction with all departments. Angela has recently been certified from the University of San Francisco in Functional Perspective of Supply Chain Management, Tactical Implementation of Supply Chain Management, Advanced Professional Supply Chain Management, and Strategic Best Practices of Supply Chain Management.
